Week of August 26 – Gluten Free Meal Plan



Sunday:  Marmalade Chicken with Arugula and Potato Salad from realsimple.com.  This recipe is naturally gluten free.

Monday: Chef’s Salad with Turkey, Avocado and Cheese from marthastewart.com .  The beauty of this is that you can omit anything that you are sensitive to, like cheese if its dairy!  Substitute a vinaigrette if you are sensitive to the buttermilk dressing.

 

Tuesday:  Rum Glazed Shrimp and Mango from marthastewart.com.   This recipe is naturally gluten free.

 

Wednesday: Blackened Chicken with a side salad from marthastewart.com .  This recipe is naturally gluten free.

 

Thursday: Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms – have as a meal or a side, from delightglutenfree.com.  This recipe is naturally gluten free.

 

Friday:  Thick Burgers (from marthastewart.com ) with steamed broccoli.

 

Saturday:  New York Strip Steak Sandwiches with Pinot Cherry Glaze from delightglutenfree.com.  Just ensure you choose a gluten free bun – Schar buns are great for this purpose – just toast them for the most flavor.
